4 But when the appropriate time had come, God sent out his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, so that we may be adopted as sons with full rights. 6 And because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, who calls “Abba! Father!” 7 So you are no longer a slave but a son, and if you are a son, then you are also an heir through God. (Galatians 4:4-7 NET)
John 14:6 (NET)
Jesus replied, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
The destination is God the Father. The way to God the Father is Jesus.
Matthew 11:27 (NET)
All things have been handed over to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son decides [chooses, wills] to reveal him.
Jesus expressly says He is the one who, by His own choice, reveals the Father to whom He decides to reveal Him.
John 8:29 (NET)
And the one who sent me [the Father] is with me. He has not left me alone, because I always do those things that please him.”
Jesus is our example for Christian living and we too should endeavor to always do what pleases our Heavenly Father.
Jesus, I pray You will reveal more of the Father to me so that I may truly know and experience all of His wonderful loving Fatherhood and whole heartedly respond by endeavoring to always do the things that please Him - loving and obeying Him because it just naturally flows from a sincere heartfelt desire to please Him.
