God Gives Signs to Mankind

The upcoming solar eclipse on April 8, 2024 is very likely a sign from God Himself that He is calling the United States and also the rest of the world to repentence.

God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them be signs to indicate seasons and days and years (Gen 1:14 NET)

²⁵“And there will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and on the earth nations will be in distress, anxious over the roaring of the sea and the surging waves. ²⁶People will be fainting from fear and from the expectation of what is coming on the world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. (Luke 21:25-26 NET)

The sun and the moon were important to fix the days for the seasonal celebrations for the worshiping Hebrew community. [footnote c. of Gen 1:14 NET in footnotes mode] These are the seven feasts to the Lord which point to the timeline of the major events in Jesus' life.

Passover — Leviticus 23:4-8 — Death of Jesus the Passover Lamb
Unleavened Bread — Leviticus 23:6 — Points to Jesus' sinless life
First Fruits — Leviticus 23:10 — Points to Jesus' resurrection
Feast of Weeks or Pentecost — Leviticus 23:16 — The day the Holy Spirit was poured out on born again Christians
Feast of Trumpets — Leviticus 23:24 — Points to the Rapture of the Church when Jesus returns for His Bride the Church before the Tribulation
Day of Atonement — Leviticus 16, 23:26-32 — Points to the Second Coming of Jesus after the Tribulation
Feast of Tabernacles or Booths — Leviticus 23:34 — Possibly the time when God our Heavenly Father and Jesus His Son who was the sacrificial Lamb and who is our brother will dwell (tabernacle) with us at the end of the 1000 year reign in the new Heavens and Earth (Revelation 21).

³⁹But he answered them, “An evil and adulterous generation asks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. ⁴⁰For just as Jonah was in the belly of the huge fish for three days and three nights, so the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights. ⁴¹The people of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because they repented when Jonah preached to them—and now, something greater than Jonah is here! (Matthew 12:39-40 NET)

A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah.” Then he left them and went away. (Matthew 16:4 NET)

The bearded speaker in Video #1 says that the number 8 signifies new beginnings. Perhaps it is not a coincidence that the second eclipse also occurs on the 8^th day of April.

Nineveh was the ancient city which God sent Jonah to, to call the Ninevehites to REPENTANCE! And they DID repent and were therefor, for a time, reconciled to God.

The Closest Significant City at the Intersection of the 2017 and 2024 Solar Eclipses is Carbondale, IL

Carbondale is a city in Jackson County, Illinois, United States, within the Southern Illinois region informally known as "Little Egypt". The city developed from 1853 because of the stimulation of railroad construction into the area. Wikipedia Click the map below for history of how the name Little Egypt came to be. Other Egyptian named towns in the area inlcude Thebes, Cairo, Karnak, Goshen and Dongola.

Another town just west of Carbondale to consider is the town of Jacob, Illinois (Israel?) and just to the North is Salem, Illinois

This is very close to the convergences of the Missouri River, the Ohio River, the Tennessee River and the Mississippi River.

If we repent as a nation before the Lord our God He will accept our sincere repentance and restore our relationship with Him.
