The Children's Bread .org website is intended primarily to be used as a discipleship course which emphasizes the very important foundations of
- knowing who we truly are in Christ Jesus and living our lives accordingly
- obtaining the freedom in Christ our Heavenly Father wants for each of his children
If used as a discipleship course, this website should be read in sequential order for the greatest benefit. Start on the left most tab entitled Overview and once all the titles under each tab (subject) are read in sequential order from top to bottom then move on to the next tab just to the left of the previous tab and repeat the process.
A Christian can't be discipled effectively unless they first obtain freedom from any and all spiritual bondages they currently have in their lives. The Lord wants this for each of His children. It is our heritage in the Christ but the Lord can only take care of His responsibilities in our covenant with Him. In order to be truly free we need to also be willing to do our part - our responsibilities - which are outlined in this website.
See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. (1 John 3:1 ESV)
16 The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ (Romans 8:16-17 ESV)
